Mark Payne is co-founder & CEO of Electric, a next gen strategy, innovation and ventures firm formed in New York in 2022.

Prior to Electric, Mark was President of Fahrenheit 212, a leading global innovation consultancy that he co-founded in 2002, spearheading innovation efforts that created over $5B in revenue for Fortune 500 companies, emerging businesses and Private Equity firms.

Mark has been both a frontline innovator and an industry thought leader, sharing insights from his innovation work in the book ‘How to Kill a Unicorn' (Random House/Crown Business), in media outlets like Fast Company, Wired, Fortune and Monacle, and through speaking engagements at Harvard Business School, MIT, Columbia, Wharton, HEC Paris, NYU and London's Royal Society of the Arts. Fahrenheit had a successful exit in 2016, selling to IT consulting giant Capgemini.

He lives in Brooklyn with his family, way too many dogs and way too many guitars.
