Sanjiv Sobti

Sanjiv Sobti has served at several preeminent Wall Street firms during a career spanning more than 30 years across, where his work exclusively focused on coverage of financial services and banking sectors.
Since 2007, Sanjiv has had an independent consulting business, and he has served as a senior advisor to Credit Suisse since 2008. From 2001 through 2008, Sanjiv was a Senior Managing Director of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. where he was appointed to the President's Advisory Council and Fairness Opinion Committee.
From 1999 to 2001, Sanjiv was a Managing Director at J.P. Morgan & Co. where he was recruited as head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Financial Institutions.
Previously Sanjiv was with Lehman Brothers Inc. from 1989 to 1999 culminating in his serving as Managing Director and co-head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Financial Institutions. Earlier Sanjiv worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1986 through 1989.
Additionally, Sanjiv serves as a board member and Audit Committee Chairman of BankUnited and is a Venture Partner at Key1 Capital.
Sanjiv holds a B.A. from St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi, and an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
